Who we are. Threadline is an early-stage family history research service. This page describes what we collect on this website and how we use it.
What we collect. When you join our waitlist we collect your first name, email address, the names and details of ancestors you choose to share, and your answers to a short questionnaire. We also use standard analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which collects information about your visit via cookies โ including pages viewed and interactions โ to help us measure advertising.
How we use it. We use your email to contact you about early access and product updates. We use ancestor details solely to prepare your research when we onboard you. We use analytics and pixel data to understand how people find and use this site. We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties. Waitlist submissions are processed by our form provider; analytics are processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. per their privacy policy. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Facebook ad settings.
Your choices. You may request access to, or deletion of, your information at any time by replying to any of our emails or contacting us at the address below. Unsubscribe links are included in every email we send.
